Missão

As the Quality Control Manager, your mission is to build Evera’s quality area and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in all aspects of our products. You will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, managing the analytical lab, and implementing measures to uphold regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction, including the management of samples.

O que você vai fazer

1. Ensure top-notch quality: · Develop and implement QC procedures that meet all regulations and industry standards. · Track key metrics to monitor product quality and consistency. · Regular inspections and audits will catch any issues early on.
2. Build and manage Evera's Brazil lab: · Oversee lab operations, including equipment maintenance and ensuring testing methods are accurate. · Coordinate testing on all materials and products, analyzing data to identify trends and improvement areas.
3. Rock-solid sample management: · Develop a system for tracking samples collected throughout production and testing. · Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation for complete traceability. · Coordinate sample retrieval and distribution for internal testing, customer evaluations, and regulatory submissions.
4. Prevent defects, optimize production: · Develop and maintain quality assurance programs to minimize waste and optimize production. · Address quality issues proactively with corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). · Collaborate with other teams to tackle quality challenges and continuously improve.
5. Stay compliant, ace audits: · Stay updated on regulations and ensure compliance through clear documentation. · Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
6. Supplier quality champion: · Evaluate supplier performance and conduct audits to maintain quality standards. · Work with procurement to qualify new suppliers and monitor ongoing supplier performance.
7. Quality knowledge master: · Train your QC team on procedures, analytical techniques, and regulations. · Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement through education and training initiatives. O que buscamos

· Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

· Experience in quality control/assurance roles within the food industry, with experience in Quality Pillar Management in systems like WCM | TPM | IWS | Lean.

· Knowledge in oils & essences process and food ingredient manufacturing is desirable.

· Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, FSMA, HACCP) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, FSSC 22000).

· Experience managing an analytical lab, including familiarity with analytical techniques and instrumentation.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.

· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

· Experience with supplier quality management and conducting supplier audits is preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

· Language: Portuguese and English
